Worth every penny for physical assessments
Used this on a client engagement for a physical pentest and it blew them away during the debrief. Cloned their badge in under 30 seconds, read the sub-GHz gate remotes, even grabbed some IR codes from conference room displays. The firmware community is incredible — I run Unleashed and the capabilities keep expanding. Battery easily lasts a full day of testing.
Thanks for the review! Glad it helped with your assessment. Unleashed firmware is a great choice for professional work.
Best learning tool for RF and RFID
I bought this primarily to learn about RF protocols and RFID systems, and it has been the single best investment in my security education. The dolphin pet is a fun touch that keeps you motivated. Being able to see real signals on the sub-GHz analyzer and then replay them is incredibly educational. My only minor gripe is the IR range could be better.
Essential red team toolkit item
This has earned a permanent spot in my go bag. Between the NFC cloning, sub-GHz replay, and IR capabilities, it covers a huge surface area for physical security assessments. The GPIO breakout is also great for hardware hacking during embedded device testing. Compact enough to not raise suspicion.
